WHAT TO EXPECT IN AN EYE EXAMINATION
Your eye test will last approximately 30 to 40 minutes. This examination can be funded privately or by the NHS if you are eligible. Ask one of our team regarding your eligibility for an NHS eye examination.
Our experienced team of optometrist will guide you through a series of simple tests, this will allow us to check the health of your eyes and vision using the latest optical equipment.
These tests are neither painful nor difficult, and we cater for both adults or children.
CARING FOR MORE THAN YOUR VISION
Regular eye exams are important, this includes those who do not currently wear glasses.
Our tests assess more than just your vision, they also monitor the health of your eyes, which can indicate serious and potentially sight-threatening conditions. These include conditions such as diabetes, glaucoma and macular degeneration. Therefore it is vital to keep on top of these things.
For children, a regular eye examination will allow us to detect any changes in their vision and resolve them before they become a problem. A child will not often complain about their vision as they do not realise if their vision is being effected and what should be considered ‘normal’. Poor eyesight can lead to problems both at school and within the social environment, so it’s better to contact us for any questions and concerns.
